Pain free dissertations




Over 70 students recently attended the recently held Pain Free Dissertation sessions organised by Academic Study Skills Tutors and Library Services.

The sessions covered planning, electronic resources, using other libraries and "Trish's Top Ten Tips".

Comments from students included:
“will there be any more workshops like this?”
“sessions like this (are) very helpful for my studies”
It is hoped to repeat the sessions early in the next academic year. Other sessions in planning stage include referencing and using RefWorks and advanced literature searching skills. Students can also add suggestions on the new Study Support forum on Moodle.
